Travel in Bali and be AMAZED by the many beautiful Sights ...

Don't be surprised when you travel in Bali and you are not able to make a choice from the many sights available.

In every corner of the island there is something to see: from ancient temples set in an amazing mountain landscape to scenic water falls where you can take a refreshing swim.

The sights can be visited individually or with a tour operator. Either way, you can check out the list of sights we have visited and really enjoyed.

Maybe our stories and pictures can make you decide which sights you definitely want visit when you travel in Bali.

Hopefully I have made it easier for you...;-)

The most interesting and beautiful sights to see when you travel in Bali are listed by the following region:

north bali sights
North Bali:

In the northern part of Bali we have included the picturesque mountains around Lake Batur and Lake Bratan.

travel to bali west sights
West Bali:

This area is probably the less visited part of the island. However people who travel in Bali seeking nature will be treated here with tropical rainforest and amazing coral reefs.

Along the coast you will find a Banyan tree you actually can drive through and many temples of which Tanah Lot is the most popular.

central bali sights
Central Bali:

Here we mainly added all the ancient and cultural sights around Ubud.

The various temples here have their own character and setting, making it worthwhile to visit more than just one.

Don't forget to add the amazing rice terraces on your 'list to see' when you are in this area!

In this area you will find the most important temple of whole Bali.

Other sights are water palaces where you can actually swim like the royals used to do, palaces, monuments and a village where the original Balinese still live according to ancient rules.

travel to bali south
South Bali:

This part of Bali is all about beaches, sea and food. To be honest there isn't that much to see.

That's why we included South Bali beaches here too.

If you are interested in Bali history then a trip to Denpasar museum is definitely worthwhile.

Another popular thing to see is Uluwatu temple and Tanah Lot temple. The last temple is actually located in West Bali, but easy to reach from the Kuta area.
